Happy Valentine's Day

I read this today (from Mocha with max-max lucado), and I thought it was perfect for Valentine's Day. Saint Valentine was a Christian. When the churches said NO MORE MARRIAGES, Valentine secretly married young couples in the forrest. God intended for man NOT to be alone. Whether it is through your spouse, grilfriend/boyfriend, friends, family, OR HIM, God wants you to know you are loved.

"God is for you. Your parents may have forgotten you, your teachers may have neglected you, your siblings may be ashamed of you; but within reac of your prayers is the maker of the coeans, GOD!
God is for you. Not "maybe" not "has been" not "was" not "would be" but "God IS" He is for you. Today. At this hour. At this minute. No need to wait in line or come back tomorrow. he is with you. He could not be closer than he is at this second. His loyalty won't increase if you are better nor lessen if you are worse. his is for you.
Can your purpose be taken or your value diminished? NO.
No one can defeat you.
God is for you.
God loves you simply because he has chosen to do so. He loves you when you don't feel lovely. He loves you when no one else loves you. Others may abandon you, divorce you, and ignore you, but God will love you. Always. No matter what."
"I'll call nobodies and make them somebodies;I'll call the unloved and make them beloved" Romans 9:25 MSG

Check out Numbers 22 and read about the donkey. I've been in Numbers for the week. Whats yur interpretation of that? And Elijah and Elisha in I and II Kings How they hung out in the worst parts of the world II kings and when Elisha took over for Elijah he headed right back into those parts.

Hey Rae I did not mean that verse for you I was struggling with it. Sorry I did not answer sooner I was sking with Paige and her school buddies in New York. Ok, now heres my take, but I love your take better. Many times I see my self as the donkey. Crazy, right, but here is this guy running from God and this donkey sees God and stops this guy 3 times and finally just lays flat in the road. Then God has this long talk with the guy, mind you, the donkey saw God all along the guy did not, mind you God said he would of spared the donkey not the guy if the guy had kept going and met up with the angel, he talks rational to the guy the guy says hes sorry falls on his knees and life is good again. I think God loves the guy because he is out there doing something even though he makes mistakes he loves that he's out there, not just playing it safe like the donkey. Like the parable of the talents. He hated the guy that buried his. The LORD's eyes cover the earth looking for someone with faith that he can do great things with.
