i was getting my weekly revelant magazine article reading in and stumbled across an article that was trying to find the truth behind soul mates. the writer was struggling between if they existed or not. he couldn't find anything said about it in the bible....he couldn't find any explainations when he asked pastors....this is the answer he got from the last pastor he asked that stuck in my brain....

“Mass media of our modern culture has ruined the concept of a soul mate because soul can now mean anything metaphysical and mate can be anyone.” He also said, “‘The one’ we should be looking for is Jesus, and then He’ll help us change so that we could make a marriage work with whomever.”

Media and the ways of the world have really just created things that don't even exist. that's what i was talking about on Sunday. Do we know the difference between our needs and wants? do we even know what we truly need? or are people we don't even know telling us what we need, what we should have, etc? its so simple...the answer has been there all the time. its not about FINDING or LOOKING for the right person, its about having faith that Jesus will take care of us. Believing in Him for everything. Jesus will do it all if we just let Him....
